The present owners and cellar master are brothers Boets (who qualified as a Cape Wine Mater in 1997) and Stroebel Nel - the viticulturist.

Meet the winemaker: Louis van der Riet started out in 2006 in the white wine cellar at Aan de Doorns near Worcester. He was hooked and left for the Napa Valley in the USA later that year. There he worked at the Silver Oak Cellars with Cabernet Sauvignon. He came back in 2007 to study for his cellar technology diploma at Elsenburg, becoming the assistant winemaker at Allesverloren in 2009. He started out as winemaker in August this year at De Krans Wine Cellar.
His favourite wine from the cellar: The Touriga Nacional. He thinks it is an interesting cultivar with much potential and being a relatively unknown cultivar, lends itself to experimenting.
